Air Supply Live in Asia
I love their songs but I never realized I am such a fan of the group until I saw them perform live last night.
Their songs suddenly came alive and before I knew it, my friends and I were singing along loudly and acting every bit as a groupie -- chasing them around the concert hall when they got off stage (as far as the marshals would allow, that is) and springing upfront when they told the crowd that we can move closer to the stage! And here I thought I would only do that in Gary V concerts(I am a huge fan of Garv Valenciano since childhood)! LOL
Here were some of the favorite songs during the concert:
1) Goodbye
2) Even the Nights are Better
3) Here I Am (Just When I Thought I Was Over You)
4) Two Less Lonely People
5) The One That You Love
6) Every Woman In The World
7) Just a Little Bit More
8) Lost in Love
9) I'll Find You
10) All Out of Love (my all time favorite!)
Everyone in the group was awesome: Frankie Moreno on piano, Russ Letizia on guitar, Mike Zerbe on drums and of course, Graham Russell (in his silky hawaiian shirt and noncholant humour) and Russell Hitchcock (in his old school blue vest and his groovy dance moves) on vocals.

Such a good deal given our 61SGD tickets. And boy, we really did get up-close!

DJ Tapiador Visits Manila Again!
It was a long, rainy weekend last August 18-20, but with Tapi and Chris' visit in Makati, it turned out to be one of those fun weekends you'd like to have again and again.
The weekend was marked with dinners at CYMA and Kitchen, hanging out at MCafe for Tapi's gig, walking through Luneta Park and Harbour View, spending time with Jojo and Berns at their lovely flat, and then ending the visit with a Kia-Hondo-Hop Tequilla Party (which almost knocked down some of us, wondering who these are! hahaha), Hookah at Ziggurat at 6AM, and last but not the least, the Survivor breakfast at Jollibee.
Cheers for more beers and tequilla shots soon!

Welcoming Turintini in Manila!
It was a week of countless beers, pinoy foods, balut-eating challenges (both successful and not-successful), and karaoke songs. It was a week of seemingly endless fun and laughter when Gonzalo, Maria and Ricardo were here in Manila last May 20-26.
at Leslie's, Tagaytay
I must say that you guys accomplished a lot in what seemed to be a short time to explore Manila -- from touring Tagaytay, Intramuros, and Roxas Boulevard in one day to exploring the bars and restaurants in GT Tower, Greenbelt, Glorietta, Makati Ave, Rockwell, and Mall of Asia (with a little bit of shopping both in Makati and Greenhills!).
It was a blast having you guys in Manila, finally. Hope you didn't get back to Madrid too drunk! Hopefully, the fun will be longer next time around...
P.S. Yeah, I know this post is way too late, but hey, I was busy trying to recover from that whirlwind visit =p

I Do
March 26, 2007 was indeed a busy day! I had two weddings to attend to both in the morning and in the afternoon (none of which I cannot NOT attend because I was part of the entourage for both weddings) and a baby-shower-turned-dinner-party in the evening.
Shay and Jon's wedding, a sprinkle of yellows and greens, was held at the Manila Cathedral with the reception at Villa Immaculada. Janelle and Joseph's, on the other hand, was a simple hawaiian wedding at San Martin de Porres church in Bacoor, Cavite with the reception at a nearby clubhouse.
I have been able to successfully pin the veil on both brides without drawing any blood from them (it was my first time to have been tasked as a veil sponsor) despite the fact the we missed the wedding march during Janelle and Joh's wedding (we blame our absence on the heavy traffic!) .
Both weddings have been beautiful. Makes me wonder who among us would be the next one to march down the aisle!
Sharing the pics that day....

KBP On Board!
History repeated itself as I sat at the Manila airport checkin area trying to figure out how to get rid of my almost 7kg of excess baggage without paying 315£ (it's 45£ per excess kg now!!), deducting 6000 points from my worldperks mileage, or sending some stuff back to the condo. Didn't know that the maximum allocated kgs for European travels would still be 20kg for checkin and 10kgs for handcarry luggages (plus 3 kilos additional for the personal bag).
After almost 2 hours of instant repacking(I'm travelling to Sweden with my manager) and repeatedly asking the KLM staff if he was sure about the weight allocation for luggages (hahaha), we were able to get into the pre-departure area still on time but a little bit stressed out.
As I was trying to nap, my manager suddenly nudged me. Apparently he has spotted what he thought was a celebrity getting off the plane because the girl was all dressed-up and she was blindfolded. Alas, my KBP intincts got alerted and true enough, even before I had seen Bianca Gonzales and the ABS CBN crew, I knew it was the PBB housemate swap from Slovenia! Apparently, the airplane that she boarded would be the same airplane for us as well. Within seconds, I was at the glass window trying to get some photos of what KBPs would probably call a historical event in PBB. I guess, I'm more KBP than what I would normally admit! HAHAHAHAHA
Will be posting the pic as soon as I get the USB drive in my laptop working ;)
